Primarily, we endeavour to support local businesses who share in our values and in turn help support the local community. We will also support larger and national companies with proven ethical policies.

We are not unsympathetic to the changes other organisations are making to become more environmentally and ethically aware. However, motivation is key, and while we will support those business which are moving towards sustainability as a core policy, we do not wish to align ourselves with businesses for whom environmental and ethical issues are simply an add-on for commercial and visual gain.

We will not feature listings or adverts from companies whose goods or services are detrimental to the environment, to the people they employ or the end user of those goods or services.
